Security Training¶
Good security training helps you to better understand Security by Design. Security by Design can be seen as the core foundation that enables you to grasp the many specialist topics required for building secure systems.
Cyber security is a vast field with firm pillars in:
Science and technology
Business management
Your daily life
No single person knows every detail of every aspect embedded within Security by Design. Sometimes you need deeper knowledge of risk assessments; other times you must consult specialist network engineers or hardware engineers regarding specific threats.
Security is both very broad and highly specialised. A good hardware engineer or software engineer is not, by default, a good security engineer.
Security Awareness Training¶
Everyone within your organisation who is involved in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) requires some form of security awareness training on a periodic basis.
Security awareness training is a set of techniques and strategies delivered by IT departments and cyber security professionals to mitigate and prevent cyber attacks. The training educates employees so that they can become cyber vigilant. Awareness tools often conduct attack simulations, evaluate employee responses, and provide further education and training.
Effective security awareness training equips employees to defend themselves and their organisation against cyber attacks. It focuses on protecting the organisation by embedding practices and policies that identify possible threats and prevent them.
Despite its clear value, some individuals and companies still disregard investing in cyber security training for their employees.

Open Access Training¶
The best courses for learning how to simplify cyber security are open access. Open access (OA) refers to freely available, digital, online information.
